They are the new elemental trade good, which is both Bind on Pickup and a random world drop. If you do not have a crafting profession to use one of these in, then you can visit either Krystel Alliance or Danky Horde , they are both found in their respective faction cities. Update: You can make a lot of gold with Spirit of Harmony, but if you want to step it up and make thousands of gold you should read my personal favorite guide.
There are 5 choices of each so you will want to pick the one that works best for your playstyle. Second, most mobs throughout the zone give The Black Prince reputation, which is a neat bonus. If I don't need them, I will junk them.
Comment by Nashoto Interesting note for lowbies with gathering professions but not crafting ones and have spirits from Darkmoon fishing and who possess the panda expansion. I frankly liked the old Dalaran better At least this is Two Moons, seven stars may be the same or different, alliance could comment the location for Seven Stars, please He's under the tree near the flight master and I think three taurens, one of them male with two papooses The sprites inside are easy to kill and are packed in large groups.
The only problem would be the potential questers inside Comment by Hashiclif if you really need just one of those there is an NPC in isle of giants with a dailly quest that rewards 1 spirit of harmony The quest is to collect 99 giant dinosaur bones but note that each dinosaur the low hp ones drop bones and may also drop a mote of harmony. I've got a ton on one toon who can't use them, and very few on a toon who actually needs them.
Comment by As a Horde player; I can say the best place to farm these is Domination Point when we have Lion's Landing and are fighting the Alliance. Comment by yuyang I agree with the idea that craft materials should be off trade. Comment by Gigabear It should be noted these are worth more to you as part of some recipes then trading them in for reagents from a vendor. Lord Blastington's scope of Doom is a good example. The reagents for that item are about g for the bolts and another g for the gems.
I just sold a few for g at a gg profit.. This is ALOT more valuable then the 60g or so from the reagents you could have bought. Only trade them in if you truly cannot use them. Comment by Ryusan If you do not like killing monsters to farm Mote of Harmony , running scenarios for Greater Cache of Treasures is probably the best item in game to get Mote of Harmony. With the exception of planting Songbell Seed for the motes with a maximum of 16 per day.
All you do is complete a scenario, obtain Greater Cache of Treasures and receive motes. From my experience, I receive about per cache on average. Pretty nice as scenarios normally last minutes. So about 20 motes or 2 Spirit of Harmony in an hour.
Comment by Arjuana Rumor has it that with Warlords of Draenor patch 6. Yes, totally unbound, not even account bound. All those dailies that requires huge amounts of spirits, like Living Steel, will become tremendously easier to get. One free daily, or 3 Spirits per Transmute plus mats. So, that Sky Golem will become tremendously easier to make, and won't take forcibly 30 days.
Ops, yes it will, since the Engineering daily can't be made faster with Spirits, being the only exception. Making Imperial Silk bags will become a matter of how many Spirits can you gather, or how many alts can you plant the stuff. But nobody wants that. Comment by Sadriel In Warlords Spirit of Harmony will lose its soulbound properties and can be traded! Comment by Longeria Such a joy that those things are not soulbound anymore.
I have at this moment about plus spirits and will get more before the release of WOD hits. It is great for making Royal Satchel. Nice to give them to your alts. I was collecting Bolt of Windwool Cloth already for a long time, in the hope that the cool-down for Imperial Silk was gone to.
I have in stock at this moment x Bolt of Windwool Cloth. The bigger bags Hexweave Bag are just 2 slots bigger. Not worth to spend your new cloth yet.
Edit I notice a few days ago that the cool down we have to make that Imperial Silk we can do it everywhere now, not only at the Silken Fields in 4 winds. Comment by bcrucial so basically, im about to be able to buy my vial of the sands recipe and bug mount through these and restored artifacts and my dude, brann bronzebeard.
Comment by Rekira As of 6. Trade away! This is fantastic! Comment by ilostmahbucket For Archaeologists considering trading these in for Restored Artifact s. Enter happy, optimistic Chronos.
Hoping to kill two birds with one stone by trying to use these to complete the Tol'Vir rare artifacts while completing The Seat of Knowledge. In other news, probably better uses for 3 Spirits of Harmony for 1 Restored Artifact when of them yielded nothing.
Unless you're desperate. These also may not decrease in price as much as you might think as they are used for Royal Satchel s, which tailors will likely continue to make throughout Warlords. Comment by tmmrtn Why is there a market for these still in Warlords? Comment by Iketani As of 6. Comment by snurt I'm posting to try to unravel a mystery that may just stem from my own ignorance. Or maybe I missed a blue post or minor patch-notes nerf in the 6.
What gives? Can Spirits be bought at all? If not, can WoWhead please end my agony by correcting its database? Comment by vikn Drastic price surges For future reference: As I'm writing this we're just over three months into Legion. Some background As many already new expansions brings price changes to some older trade goods. Generally the goods of the previous expansion. Roughly speaking, either a previous useful trade goods becomes trash or a trade goods highly farmed becomes scarce and gains an increase in value.
The long term effect of inflation also brings price changes to trade goods. Main point Interestingly enough, as I looked over the prices of a number of useful MoP trade goods two expansions back. I noticed a drastic surge in price coinciding with the Legion release date September 1th Similar price increases can be seen on some trade goods from other expansions. Though the pattern isn't as clear. Three additional notes on the subject: 1. This can in no way be explained by inflation as it has not effected other types of items in any similar way.
With the release of Legion, wow saw a surge in returning players. The time between the last patch of WoD 6. This even caused some backlash due to players complained on the lack of new content. Speculation Why? My assumption would be that the drastic overnight changes was largely brought on due to the lack of content in WoD forcing people out into the older zones.
Creating a strong supply of such materials. Thus keeping prices down for an extended period of time. And with the burst of content brought by Legion people quickly left the old zones causing supply to fall drastically. The EU mean price for White Trillium ore is 93 gold. This puts the value at gold, slightly better even than the Ghost Iron Bars. Black Trillium Ore has an EU mean price of gold. This puts the value of one Spirit of Harmony at gold. Although I am leveling alchemy on my Demon Hunter that just hit , so I will probably dip into some of the transmutes.
I have created a quite detailed TSM setup to use all of this in practice. The TSM setting is designed to be used for players who only want to flip Spirits of Harmony into other Mists materials. If you are planning to use the materials for crafting you will have to setup your own shopping operation and max price or compare prices by hand. The settings use a custom price source that just evaluates to the average purchase price of Spirits of harmony.
This makes it way easier to write minimum price formulas for the various auctioning operations. You can find custom price sources on the front page of TSM, as shown in the screenshot below.
The shopping operation is based on the prices of the materials you want to turn the spirits into. To find the most valuable flip, just hover over the tooltips at the vendor and do some quick math. If you get large volumes of Spirits, you will likely want to do all of them. I have set up operations with a ton of different stack sizes for all the materials. For ghost iron ore and bars it posts in stacks of 10, 20, 50, and For Golden Lotus the stack sizes are 1, 5 and Trillium ore is posted in stack sizes of 10, 20, 50 and Lastly Trillium bars are posted in stacks of 6, as this is optimal for people using them for Living steel.
Make sure you pop any questions you have on the setup in the comments, on discord or on twitter.
